Todd and his wife Amy were on their way to rock climbing in the Arrowhead region of Minnesota.  Todd was piloting the plane (they belong to a flying club and shared the plane with other members) and shortly after take-off they collided in mid-air with another plane (piloted by a young man taking lessons).  Todd's plane took a nose dive into a golf course (Gem Lake?) in a suburb of St. Paul.  The other plane landed safetly.

Todd Rogers, age 39 and his wife Amy Rogers (Currier), age 37, of St. Paul, left us too soon on August 22, 2003. Two people who lived life to the fullest. Todd was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria. He is survived by his father, Wilbur; sister, Lisa (Dennis) Otten; brother, Greg (Leanne). Amy is survived by her parents, Roger and Lois Currier; sisters, Kim (Richard) Dunn, Karen (Matthew) Drummer; brothers, Ralph (Elizabeth) Currier and Eric Currier; grandmother, Anna Trautmiller; Todd and Amy are also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Memorial service 11 AM Thursday at CENTENNIAL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 1524 W. Co. Rd. C2 at Snelling Ave., Roseville. Visitation Wednesday 4-8 PM at THE O'HALLORAN & MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 575 S. Snelling Ave., St. Paul (651-698- 0796), and one hour prior to services Thursday at church. Interment Roselawn Cemetery. Memorials preferred.
