Obituary

Donald A. Nelson Age 52 of Shoreview, MN passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, July 30, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. Don was born on May 22, 1963 to Richard and Janet Nelson. Preceded in death by his father, Richard. Don is survived by mother, Janet; wife and best friend, Kim; children, Matthew and Zach; brother, Rick; sister, Kristen (Todd) Weaver; and nephew and niece, Nelson and Sophie. Don founded Krugerfarms.com where he combined his love of hunting and fishing with his sharp business acumen to build a successful organization and, in doing so, built life-long friendships. While Don left us too soon, he made a positive and lasting impact on everyone he met and he will be missed by all. Matthew and Zach were blessed to have him as their father and in return, they brought him the most joy in life. Memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 12th at 2:00 p.m. at the Vadnais Heights Commons, 655 E. Co. Rd. F, Vadnais Heights. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Mounds View High School Trap Shooting Team, 5824 Churchill St. Shoreview, MN 55126.
